The MicroMaps Creative Content Mangement System allows you to easily create Categories and Sub-Categories which provides a simple means for users to browse and find Points-of-Interest on your interactive map by topic.
Creating a Category (or Sub-Category) is a simple process.
Create a Clickable Area or Zooming Center for a Category
These are two great features for showing points-of-interest within a specified area on a map.
Clickable Area - define an area on a map associated with a Category. This tool allows you to draw an area using one of 4 tools - Rectangle, Ellipse, Polygon or Curved Polygon. You can choose Fill Colors and Line Colors for different states along with Opacity Levels and Line Thickness. When a Category is selected from the Control Panel or the Area corresponding to the Category is clicked the map automatically zooms into the predefined level and shows the Points of Interest placed in the area of focus.
Zooming Center - define a zooming center point and zoom level for a Category. When the Category is selected from the Control Panel the map automatically zooms into the predefined level and shows the Points of Interest placed in the general area of focus.
